Genuine replacement wooden brake for Spiderjack 2.1. The Pock Wood pads used on the Spiderjack brake levers is sourced from Central America and traded only under strict legal control. The botanical name for Pock Wood is Guajacum. Historically the resin from this wood was used to ward against the 'pox', hence the European name derivative. It is naturally 'oily' and very dense making Pock Wood ideal in this braking application. Wood, also makes a poor conductor of heat - perfect for controlling the descent speeds on the Spiderjack. Comes complete with replacement bolts.
